Payments
All payments must be made via escrow.com. Buyer pays the escrow fees. See the escrow.com site for an
overview of the process and the current
fee schedule. At the time this document was written, the fees run approximately $25
for a $200 domain name, $65 for $2000 domains.
Transfers
Domains are "pushed" to your account at the registrar where they are currently managed. This process is typically free. Please use whois to
determine the current registrar. Most of our domains are held at Moniker, and some at GoDaddy. Other registrars are used on occassion. You can
obtain a free account at either registrar to receive the domain.
Transfer procedure
Once your escrow payment has been initiated, you will need to provide us with your account numbers at the registrar.
at Moniker: provide your account number and authorization code. Your account number is on the dashboard screen when you log in to moniker.com.
To get your authorization code, open the Account Management screen (see the blue bar in the middle of the moniker.com screen) and then select the
Security Settings option from the left column. The code is displayed under "Current Authorization Code".
at GoDaddy: provide your GoDaddy account number or login name and your email address. Your account number is shown as "Customer Number" on
the "My Account" screen. If you don't know the email address you used with GoDaddy, click on "Update Security Settings" on the "My Account" page. Your
email address will be displayed there.
Domains
Listing of any domain on this site should not be considered an offer to sell. Domains are listed for promotional purposes. Offers will only be
considered at or above 50% of the valuation shown. We are not desperate to sell any of the domains. Many of these either have already been
developed, are in development or are scheduled for development.
Valuations
Valuations are based on our internal analysis which considers public valuations, future potential, current income, cost and other factors which we
do not make public. Traffic statistics are not considered, but may impact third party valuations and sales information is not available. Third party
site valuations are generally based on Yahoo or AdWords keyword valuations and public traffic estimates from notoriously inaccurate traffic estimates.
Third party valuations are typical made in the context of domain parking. Our experience is that the return on investment from developed domains
varies signifcantly from parked domain valuations. We do not consider domain parking valuations when estimating our domain prices. As such, third
party valuations have no bearing on negotiations or price estimates.
Trademarks
Trademark law applies to all domains. We consider each domain name to be our trademark. Domain names may contain trademarked words from third
parties, but they are not in conflict with registered trademarks unless used for the products or uses specified in the trademark. This is trademark
law. The buyer is responsible for all trademark law compliance. Only domain names are listed here unless specfically stated otherwise for a specific
domain. Buyers are not purchasing websites, trademarks, rights, services or goods - only the domain name.
Domain Age and Expiration
The remaining life of a domain name varies by domain. All domain renewals are the responsibility of the buyer. Domain expiration date is indicated
in the whois record for the domain. Once a contract is entered, the buyer is reponsible for renewal fees. If free push is used, the domain life is
not extended; if a transfer is performed, domains are typically extended one year and a fee must be paid to the receiving registrar (by the buyer).
We will typically renew all of the domains listed here. It is cheaper for you to purchase the domain and renew it yourself than to wait for us to
renew it. Once we renew a domain an additional year of aging is taken into consideration and the value increases.
Downloads
The full domain list is available for download in multiple formats. You are welcome to publicize these domains on your website. This list changes
as domains are added, which is one or twice a week. Acceptable download frequency is once daily. Do not directly incorporate the download links
into an automated program, utility or web driven system. You should download and cache or save the list locally on your site, then serve it to your
clients from there. Same for the images if you need them. Hotlinking to the list or the
images may get you banned or throttled.
